In preparing my client for a National Parole Board hearing, I typically do the following:
- meet you several months before your hearing to implement a viable parole release plan
- work with you and your parole officer to set realistic goals
- help with formal grievances related to parole plans
- contact halfway houses on your behalf
- prepare a comprehensive release strategy and risk assessment
- review all correctional and criminal files to develop persuasive submissions about you and your case
- prepare legal arguments based on the latest case law
