PAROLE BOARD OF CANADA

/pəˈrōl/ /bôrd/ [kʰɛənədə]

In preparing my client for a Parole Board of Canada hearing, I typically do the following:

  • meet you several months before your hearing to implement a viable parole release plan
  • work with you and your parole officer to set realistic goals
  • help with formal grievances related to parole plans
  • contact halfway houses on your behalf
  • prepare a comprehensive release strategy and risk assessment
  • review all correctional and criminal files to develop persuasive submissions about you and your case
  • prepare legal arguments based on the latest case law
